Action ExploitationFilms are typically B movies lacking production values. Robert Rodriguez has
proven you can make a great movie for $10 million.
His
campy movies attract great audiences and great stars. No action movie character
actor has a better resume than Danny Tejo. In Machete he plays Machete. Also in
the lineup, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Don Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and
Steven Seagal. Machete sees his wife slaughtered before his eyes, and as fate
would have it years later he is caught up in a chain of events leading to a death
match with his nemesis. If you’re not a fan of senseless violence, blood gore
and simple plotting do not watch this. I thought it was for this genre a
masterpiece.
