True Romance (1993)

A great movie starts with a great story. Quentin Tarintino wrote the sizzling script, and Tony Scott masterfully directed.
Extreme cast with more stars than are in the sky, including a Tony Soprano cameo. Star-crossed lovers wrapped up in a double-dealing drug run. Story moves effortlessly and absolutely believably. Perhaps the purest anti-hero movie ever made. Rotten Tomatoes loved it, but it was a box office bust taking in only $13 million, just under its cost. An absolutely awesome movie.

Ten stars (out of five)
